In our stores, we aim to be your guide and helping hand. We have chosen to highlight the most sustainable options with our green arrows and are happy to answer your questions, so you can easily identify what to look for when you want to shop more sustainably.
How do the arrows work?
The arrows symbolize our commitment to more responsible consumption and serve as markers for products that meet high sustainability standards and where we believe it's essential to share valuable insights. By using our green arrows, we point out our most sustainable products. An example of such products is our rustic candles made from 100% stearin.
To ensure that you, as a customer, feel confident in our better choices, we work to the greatest extent possible with third-party certifications that verify we meet their ambitious environmental, climate, and health standards. Labeling in store
By highlighting and explaining criteria such as recycled materials, manufacturing countries, and improved production methods, we aim to help you as a customer to make informed decisions when purchasing interior details. For products where material choices are crucial for sustainability, we emphasize specific attributes such as recycled plastic, FSC-certified© paper, and palm oil-free.
Sustainability in store
Energy- and environmentally conscious lighting
We reduce our energy consumption and climate impact by installing LED lighting and using green electricity from renewable sources in all our stores.
Sustainable bags
We use FSC-certified and locally produced paper bags to reduce environmental impact. For long-term use, we offer reusable long-life bags.
Reuse and recycling in store
We recycle and reuse materials in our stores. Packaging is sorted for recycling, and old store fixtures are sold to Pelly for reuse. During renovations, we prioritize reusing existing interiors.
Sustainable clothing and store materials
Our employees’ clothing is made from organic cotton to reduce chemical and water usage. We also reuse signage and campaign materials to minimize waste and extend their lifespan.
Eco-friendly campaign materials
We use Nordic Swan Ecolabel-certified printed materials to ensure that our campaign and printed materials are environmentally friendly throughout their entire life cycle.
